Grihyr Tyutyunnyk (1931–1980) was known as a writer, translator and teacher, a representative of the 60s generation. He was considered an outstanding stylist and one of the strongest Ukrainian novelists of the 20th century.

All of Tyutyunnik's texts were impressive with perfect execution: picturesque descriptions and conversations, apt characterizations of characters, rapid development of the plot... and appropriate reflections that never become banal. His works contain the aesthetics of expression, intellectual digressions and allusions to other texts, but most importantly, they are fragments of real life that acquire a new sound through a literary image.

The collection includes ten texts (stories, short stories, short stories) by Hryhor Tyutyunnyk: "Ovary", "Cold Mint", "Chudasia", "Medal", "Red Darkness", "Obmarilo", "Siege", "Oddavali" Katryu", "My day is Saturday", "Three cuckoos with a bow".

In these short prose works, you will see what inner experiences literature can convey, how it can touch, bringing us closer to life situations, even if they are far from us.
