About the nature of things

In the famous poem of the famous Roman poet Lucretius, "On the nature of things", which is a sophisticated combination of reasoning and images, the reader is revealed a huge panoramic view of the conception of the universe and social life that was characteristic of the ancient atomists. Developing their ideas, Lucretius created a unique work that still impresses with the depth and breadth of the author's thoughts, as well as the skill of artistic presentation. This poem significantly influenced the development of European philosophical thought.
