In their three stories from Poland, Christoph Ransmeier and Martin Pollak use a special narrative style - a duet. They create the impression that they tell one common story, complementing each other. In these stories, they examine various aspects of the human drama against the background of Polish modern history.

In the first story, we see a hunter who reprimands his Lord for creating a wolf, which becomes a symbol of natural evil and a force that can destroy the environment. This image can be perceived as an allegory on the subject of human suffering and internal struggles occurring in the modern world.

In the second story, we encounter an executed hero and a saint who turns out to be an innocent oddball. This story may reflect the theme of unjust suffering and injustice in today's society.

In the third story, the descendant must overcome the apocalyptic history of his people. This may indicate that generations living in modern times must confront the challenges and tragedies of the past in order to secure their future.

Overall, through the duet narrative style, Ransmeier and Pollack create the impression of bringing together different voices and perspectives, which helps us better understand the complexity of the human experience of history.
