It is one of the most famous children's publishing houses in Eastern Europe and the first private children's publishing house of independent Ukraine. Such a wonderful unusual name was not chosen by chance, because in the translation from the children's language "A-BA-BA-GA-LA-MA-GA" it is actually "alphabet" (that's what the hero of Ivan Franko's story "Hrytseva School Science" called her ").

The publishing house is distinguished by high artistic and printing quality, cooperates with famous illustrators and authors, such as Vladyslav Yerko, Kost Lavro, Vsevolod Nestaiko.

"A-BA-BA-GA-LA-MA-GA" books are popular among readers of all ages and are an important element of Ukrainian cultural heritage. More than 20 countries, including England, the United States and South Korea, have acquired publishing rights.

The credo of the publishing house: "Among tens of thousands of children's publications, our (Ukrainian) book must be so good that a child will reach for it. And then many unfortunate, artificially contrived "language problems" will disappear. It is very important that everything Ukrainian "rhymes" in our children with the concept of "quality"... (I. Malkovich).
