Understand Russia

This book is a collection of eyewitness accounts from different eras: ambassadors, diplomatic representatives, officers and merchants - about the country that is known today as Russia.

It is interesting that the Russian censorship did not support the publication of such testimonies. Translations into Russian were often deliberately distorted, and some important works, excerpts from which are given in this book, were never published in Russian, and sometimes in Ukrainian.

The book will be useful to the military, diplomats, businessmen and everyone who has or does not have business with Russia.
