KILL THE TYRANT. The history of tyranny from Caesar to Gaddafi

There are no tyrants who cannot be removed by force; moreover, tyranny itself creates the possibility not only of actual, but also of legal murder of the tyrant. Since the time of Ancient Greece, the Western political and legal tradition has considered the conditions under which the removal of a tyrant can be recognized as legitimate. Each era has contributed to this issue through heated debates, heated arguments and explosive events. The book analyzes the concept of tyranny and the fight against it from antiquity to 2021, leaving the last pages open for reflection. The last section presents famous names from the news: Putin, Xi Jinping, Erdogan, Orban, Kim Jong Un.

By their existence, today's tyrants give birth to tomorrow's tyrants. In 2021, the author could not have known that Ukrainians would later become tyrant fighters not only of a specific tyrant, but also of an entire imperial regime built on tyrannical power. Why?
