A collection of documentary prose by Artem Chech, a writer and military man, describing his ten months of service in the Armed Forces of Ukraine in 2015-2016.

First published in 2017 after a long break in the literary work of the author himself, the book "Point zero" is a kind of diary of a mobilized Kyivan who records everything that happens around him and reflects it through the prism of his own perception. The main character is not a hero, he is an ordinary person with his fears, anxieties, hopes and doubts. He realizes that the past will not return, and now another reality opens before him, his wife and others who serve with him - the reality of exercises, training grounds, the war in the East, as well as the reality of "point zero", where everything begins anew .
