Cold Yar

The book of memories of a lieutenant of the UNR army, who served in the 1st kuren of the Kholodny Yar haidamak regiment, takes us back to the distant years 1919–1921. This sincere and truthful story by a talented storyteller immerses us in the stormy years of the formation of Ukrainian statehood. Further transformation of the call of the Kholodnoyarsk Republic "Glory to Ukraine!" - "Glory to heroes!", which was adopted by subsequent generations, remains relevant even today. The novel is presented based on the original editions of 1934 and 1937, which were printed in Lviv. The edition includes the author's preface and afterword to the first and second parts, which were not in the previous editions, as well as a map of Kholodny Yar and its surroundings.
