"Despatch Mode" is a complex work that does not fit into one genre. It's not a piercing lyric or a religious novel, but at the same time it's not just banter or mockery. It is rather a portrait of a transitional era and a generation that is in a difficult transition between eras. The work examines the harsh reality and problems of the nineties through the prism of the author's own imagination and perception.
