The book of the famous American writer and philosopher Ayn Rand is her magnus opus, on which she worked for 12 years. According to a survey by the US Library of Congress, this book was the second most influential book among American readers after the Bible. "Atlant" is part of the seminal trilogy, which includes "Contradiction", "Either-Or" and "A is A".

Addressing contemporary geopolitical conflicts and issues, this book offers a philosophical framework that is still hotly debated. It tells the story of a country left behind by its creators, where power is seized by ignoramuses, corrupt people and marauders. However, in this world there is a strong-willed woman named Dagny Taggart, who is trying to break the script of the inevitable disaster.

"Atlant" is noted for its unique mixed style, where realism is intertwined with mysticism, utopia with dystopia, and grotesque with romanticism. This book has had a great impact and is still hotly debated today.

Ayn Rand, whose real name is Alice Rosenbaum, was an American writer and philosopher of Jewish origin. She created the philosophical system of Objectivism and wrote several influential works, including Atlas and Hymn. Her works were filmed in the States and Italy, and she had a significant influence on world literature and philosophy.
