Marie-Yanina Kalich- professor of the history of Eastern and Southeastern Europe at the University of Munich named after Ludwig and Maximilian. She is the author of books on the history of Yugoslavia and Southeast Europe, including the works "The History of Yugoslavia in the 20th Century" and "The Great Cauldron. The History of Southeast Europe." Her research covers the region's complex history, political and social transformations.
