Geo Shkurupii— Ukrainian writer, poet and novelist, one of the representatives of Ukrainian futurism. Born in 1903, he was an active participant in the literary life of the 1920s in Ukraine. He experimented with poetic form, using new images and styles inherent in avant-garde art. Shkurupii was one of the founders of the literary group "New Generation", which promoted the ideas of futurism and constructivism in Ukrainian literature.
His work spans a variety of genres, including poetry, prose, essays, and drama. In his writings, he often addressed the themes of technological progress, urbanization, and social change. Geo Shkurupii became a victim of Stalinist repressions and was shot in 1937.
