Doctor of Historical Sciences, specialist in the field of ethnology. Heads a number of innovative initiatives at the Center for the Borderland of the Ukrainian Catholic University. Acts as deputy editor-in-chief of the ambitious project "Local History" and manages the online archive "Living History", which collects unique oral history and visual sources.
During his career, he conducted dozens of ethnographic and oral history expeditions that covered the regions of Western and Central Ukraine: Lviv, Ivano-Frankivsk, Ternopil, Volyn, Rivne, Zhytomyr, Khmelnytskyi, and Kyiv. Thanks to these studies, he managed to preserve and popularize the invaluable cultural heritage of the regions.
His activities encompass scientific research, community outreach, and the creation of innovative platforms for historical preservation, which makes a significant contribution to understanding Ukraine's cultural identity.
