Yuri Shcherbak — Ukrainian writer, diplomat, publicist, screenwriter and public figure. He was born in 1934. He is known for his writings on politics, ecology, medicine and social issues. Shcherbak has a medical education and worked as a doctor, which later influenced his literary and journalistic activities. Among the most famous works of Yury Shcherbak is a novel"Chernobyl"and a book"Barrier of incompatibility", in which he explores the consequences of the Chernobyl disaster and environmental issues, as well as the novels of the "Time" trilogy.
