Yuriy Roketsky
Yuriy Roketsky– a multifaceted figure in the Ukrainian cultural space. Known as the vocalist and bassist of the Lviv band "Green Silence", he is also actively developing his literary activity. Roketsky is not just a musician, but also a researcher of the Ukrainian rock scene, who deeply immerses himself in the history and work of his colleagues.
Yuriy dedicated his first book to the legendary Serhiy Kuzminsky and the band "The Hadyukin Brothers". It was a large-scale research work, which was the result of many years of work. The author conducted interviews, studied archives, analyzed music and lyrics to create the most complete and objective picture of Kuzminsky's life and work. This book became an important contribution to the development of Ukrainian musical historiography and was highly appreciated by both critics and fans of the work of the "Hadyukin Brothers".
In addition to his musical and literary activities, Roketsky is an ardent fan of the British band "The Beatles". He actively participates in the life of the Lviv fan club and even plays in a cover band dedicated to the work of the Liverpool foursome.
