Yuriy Andruhovych — Ukrainian writer, poet, essayist and translator, one of the most famous representatives of modern Ukrainian literature. Born in 1960 in Ivano-Frankivsk. Andruhovych is a co-founder of the literary group "Bu-Ba-Bu" (Burlesque-Balagan-Bufonada), which played an important role in the development of Ukrainian postmodern literature. His work spans poetry, prose and essay writing, distinguished by a combination of irony, philosophical reflections and deep cultural context.
Among the most famous works of Yuriy Andruhovych are novels"Recreation","Lexicon of intimate cities", "Radio Night", "Twelve Hoops", as well as essay collections in which the author reflects on Ukrainian identity, European culture and modernity. His books have been translated into many languages, which made Andruhovych famous outside of Ukraine.
Yurii Andruhovych actively speaks at literary events, participates in musical and literary projects and is engaged in translation activities, popularizing Ukrainian culture in the world.
