Yana Khomenko — Ukrainian writer, born in 1990 in the village of Nova Obodivka in Vinnytsia region. She studied at a local school, and later moved to Kyiv, where she trained as an English translator. She worked as an English teacher, and during maternity leave she decided to try her hand at writing. She took several online writing courses and studied at a literary school.
Yana is currently a graduate student at Mykhailo Drahomanov University, where she studies the works of Olena Pchilka, majoring in Ukrainian literature. Among her works is a children's book"Run Forest, run!"and a popular science book"People like us. About animals and their characters", which tells about animals and their unique features.
