Vera Ageeva- Ukrainian literary critic, critic and professor, known for her research on Ukrainian literature and cultural heritage. She was born in Kyiv, where she began her scientific activity. Ageeva is the author of numerous monographs devoted to literary figures, such as Olga Kobylyanska, Lesya Ukrainka and other representatives of modernism. Her works are focused on the study of literary processes, gender issues and the role of women in Ukrainian culture. Thanks to her research, Vira Ageyeva made a significant contribution to the understanding of the development of Ukrainian literature and cultural identity.
