William Sticksrad is an American neuropsychologist, author and teacher who specializes in research on brain development in children and adolescents. He is the co-author of the book "The Self-Driven Child: How to teach children to organize their own lives" (The Self-Driven Child), where, together with Ned Johnson, he offers an approach to education based on the development of autonomy and independence in children. Stixrad focuses on strategies to reduce stress and develop motivation in teenagers, actively works with the topics of learning, success and psychological well-being of children.
