Stepan Bandera

Stepan Bandera (1909–1959)- Ukrainian politician, leader of the Organization of Ukrainian Nationalists (OUN), which fought for Ukraine's independence in the first half of the 20th century. He was born in Western Ukraine, then under the rule of Poland. Bandera played an important role in the development of the nationalist movement directed against the Polish, Soviet and German occupations. His activities were controversial: some consider him a hero who fought for freedom, others consider him a radical responsible for violent actions. Killed in Munich by a KGB agent.

Stepan Bandera is the author of the book "Prospects of the Ukrainian Revolution". In this work, he presents his views on the struggle for Ukraine's independence and the future of the nationalist movement. The book contains an analysis of the national liberation struggle, the strategy and tactics necessary to achieve state independence, as well as ideological principles that should inspire Ukrainians to actively participate in the revolutionary struggle.
