Pavlo Mykhed is a prominent literary scholar and Doctor of Philology, whose work focuses on the in-depth study of the work of Nikolai Gogol and the literary heritage of Ukraine. He holds the position of Chief Research Fellow of the Taras Shevchenko Institute of Literature of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine, and is also the Head of the Gogol Studies Center at the Nikolai Gogol Nizhyn State University.
As the editor-in-chief of the scientific publication "Gogol Studies", Pavlo Mykhed actively promotes the popularization of Gogol studies in Ukraine and abroad. His authorial output includes six monographs, books, and over 200 scientific articles. In addition, he is the editor and author of the introductory article to the seven-volume collection of works of Nikolai Gogol in Ukrainian, which became a significant contribution to the development of Ukrainian literary scholarship.
His works are distinguished by their depth of analysis, innovative approach, and commitment to preserving and developing the national cultural heritage.
