Pavel Reshka

Pawel Reśka is a famous Polish journalist, investigative reporter and war correspondent.

He is one of the most famous journalists in modern Poland, widely known for his in-depth and resonant reporting. His creative output includes a number of books that expose social problems, reveal the nuances of life in Poland and abroad, and highlight the consequences of war and global change.

The author's most famous works are: "A Place After the Empire", "My War", "Far from Wawel", "Far from Love", "Greed. How Big Companies Cheat Us", "Black People", "Little Gods. On the Heartlessness of Polish Doctors", and its sequel - "Little Gods 2. How Poles Die". His texts often touch on the topics of corruption, inefficiency of the healthcare system and social injustice, which makes his works important not only in Poland, but also abroad.

Pawel Reżka began his career in leading Polish media, working for Rzeczpospolita, Dziennik, Tygodnik Powszechny, Newsweek Polska. Since 2019, he has been a journalist for the prestigious weekly Polityka. His reports have repeatedly attracted the attention of an international audience, in particular, materials on Russia's war against Ukraine, which were highly appreciated by experts.

The journalist has repeatedly become a laureate of prestigious awards. In 2005, he received the Dariusz Fikus Prize. He was awarded the Andrzej Wojciechowski Prize (Radio ZET) three times in 2010, 2018 and 2022, and also received the special distinction "Journalist of the Decade" in 2019.
