Marcus de Seitois— a British mathematician, a professor at Oxford University, known for his research in the field of group theory and number theory. He actively popularizes science through television and radio, in particular, he was the host of the famous BBC series "History of Mathematics". Marcus also writes articles for publications such as the Guardian, The Times and the Daily Telegraph.
In addition, de Seitois is the author and actor of the play "X&Y", which was presented at the London Science Museum and at the Glastonbury festival. In 2009, he received the Michael Faraday Prize for the Popularization of Science, and since 2012 he has been a member of the American Mathematical Society.
