Christina (Tina) Golden is a human factors professional with over 30 years of experience in human-computer interaction (HCI), human-centered design, and usability. She is a Technical Fellow at Leidos, based at NASA's Johnson Space Center. Christina received her PhD in engineering psychology from Rice University.
Throughout her career, Christina has been a principal investigator on several NASA-funded research projects, including research aboard the International Space Station. She is also a human factors expert for major space programs such as the Orion Multi-Purpose Crew Vehicle (MPCV), Commercial Crew Program (CCP), Gateway, and Human Landing System (HLS).
Christina Golden is the co-author of the book "Universal Principles of Design", which has become an essential resource for designers, engineers and researchers, providing 200 principles for improving usability, influencing perception and making better design decisions.
