Kateryna Shavanova is an experienced researcher in the field of biology and genetics, Candidate of Biological Sciences. She has significant experience working in scientific institutions and agro-industrial companies. Her scientific interests are focused on research in the field of radiation ecology and plant genetics. Iryna is a co-author of the book "The Terrible, the Beautiful and the Ugly in Chernobyl" and an active participant in the popularization of science, in particular, as a speaker for the STEM is FEM project.
