Andreas Fingernagel
Andreas Fingernagel – a famous art historian, a specialist in medieval art, in particular, manuscript books. His scientific works are a valuable contribution to the study of the history of book printing and the development of the art of illustration. Fingernagel devoted a lot of time to the study of biblical manuscripts, analyzing their iconography, execution technique and historical context.
