Adam Kay is a British television scriptwriter, writer, comedian and former doctor. His debut book"It will hurt. Secret diaries of a resident doctor"became the #1 bestseller by versionSunday Timesand sold two million copies. Adam's second book was also a huge success, selling 500,000 copies in its first week.
Kay worked as a doctor from 2004 to 2010, but had to leave medicine after an unpleasant incident at work that affected him greatly. After that, he decided to devote himself entirely to writing, which brought him considerable recognition.
