The first art book of the artist and illustrator Sergiy Maidukov, "KYIV by Sergiy Maidukov", is a visual history of Kyiv, which is built on more than 50 color illustrations and black and white sketches created by the author during the period from 2018 to 2021. In this book, Serhii Maidukov is the main character, who feels the city rush and the whimsical beauty of everyday life, conveying the colors and moods of the streets.

"KYIV by Sergiy Maidukov" is a book by an artist who initially did not feel Kyiv as his native city, but over time discovered it for himself. The title of the artbook suggests that it deals with locations, buildings and interiors, but this is no ordinary guidebook. It consists of a disassembled mosaic that each reader can reassemble for himself. Among the illustrations you will find the "Flying Saucer" and the "Salyut" hotel, the elevators and the port area near the Dnipro, the Podil Theater and Motherland, as well as the interiors of the Cinema House and Rye Market, Shulyavka and Dorogozhichy.

The publication included a foreword by journalist Oleksiy Tarasov, as well as his conversation with Serhiy Maidukov. All texts in the art book are written in two languages: Ukrainian and English.
