In Rwanda, on April 6, 1994, the country, which was divided between two hostile peoples, the Tutsis and the Hutu, is thrown into crisis when the head of state is killed in a plane crash. Among the Hutus, there is only one interpretation: the Tutsis are behind it. This tragedy marks the beginning of one of the bloodiest pages in modern history - the genocide, during which a million people were killed within a hundred days.

Even the UN peacekeeping mission and the powerful presence of the Catholic Church could not prevent the massacre. The international community did not intervene, and the international media ignored the bloody tragedy in this small African country for a long time. Those who survived are still trying to recover from such trauma. Wojciech Tochman returned to Rwanda many times, trying to understand if it was possible to live together after what happened there. He communicated with both the survivors and the executioners and witnesses.

"Today we will draw death" is a vulnerable testimony of these meetings, which raises the question: "Are we all stained with that blood?"
