YOUR ART | Nastya Kalita, Svetlana Libet

The first print issue of Your Art magazine about art reflects important topics and events that influenced Ukrainian society and cultural context in 2019 and 2020. The issue contains 24 selected columns and interviews that consider various aspects of Ukrainian art and its latest trends.

The texts are devoted to a variety of topics, including ecology, the epic of the Anthropocene, decommunization processes, the feminist movement, queer art, and Ukrainian cinema. The book contains previously unpublished interviews with artist Katya Libkind, curators Maria Lanko and Lizaveta Herman, art critic Yevgenia Molyar and other cultural figures. Also in the issue are columns by art critic Asya Bazdyreva about the trends of 2019, curator Lesya Kulchynska about the feminist project "Cave of the Golden Rose" and critic Oleksiy Kuchansky about the film "Zarvanytsia" by Yarema Malashchuk and Roman Himey, which became one of the main premieres of 2020.
