Description

Local Gr0up is a platform of Ukrainian artists, localized in Berlin, which is designed to develop and present an experimental artistic vision. The project was founded in February 2021 and began its activities with the publication of the magazine “Local Stickerbook”, each issue of which collects the works of 20 contemporary Ukrainian artists on the pages of the publication in the format of stickers. Later, the association continued to work with both printed products and art events of various formats.

Lexicon of Nature is a visual encyclopedia of stress in human life, in the digital world, and in nature, primarily created as an attempt to transform the team's individual reaction to the beginning of a full-scale invasion in Ukraine into a collective reflection. The magazine has collected visual works, English-language essays, and poetry by contemporary artists from Ukraine and other countries of the world, united by the theme of experiencing stress in nature, humans, and digital entities.
