Ukrainian trap for the Russian Leviathan

This book, written by well-known Ukrainian historians Alla Kyridon and Serhiy Troyan, offers a detailed and well-founded study of the modern foreign policy of Ukraine. The authors focus on Russia's aggression on the territory of the former USSR, considering the events from August 2008 to the spring of 2023. The main focus is on the background, causes, nature, lessons and consequences of Russia's war against Georgia in August 2008 and against Ukraine in the period 2014-2023. The book also focuses on the analysis of the threats of Russian aggression for the modern world order and the practice of Russia's implementation of the imperial course towards newly independent states.

The self-sacrificing struggle of the Ukrainian people for independence is presented as a hammer, and the desire of the world community to restore the international legal order is presented as an anvil, between which the aggressive Russian Leviathan has found itself, which must be crushed.
