"TEURA. SOFIA YABLONSKA" is a project that aims to introduce the world and Ukraine to the outstanding Ukrainian photographer, writer, traveler, and documentary filmmaker Sofia Yablonska (1907–1971).

On the island of Bora Bora, the natives called Sophia "Teura" - a red bird, recognizing her as "one of their own." She was one of the first to appear there with a photo and film camera. In her travels through Indochina, Egypt, Ceylon, Bali, Tahiti, New Zealand and other corners of the world, Jablonska captured a "living" picture of life, avoiding the then fashionable staged photographs.

The photo album includes her photos from her 1930s round-the-world trip. The publication was published in two separate versions: in Ukrainian and French.

The book contains a preface-essay by Oksana Zabuzhko (Kyiv), and the photographs are provided from the archive of Natalia Uden-Yablonska, granddaughter of Sophia (Paris). The biography was prepared by Veronika Homeniuk and Andriy Benytsky (Lviv), the captions to the photos are by Natalka Beshta. The selection of illustrations and design were carried out by Grafprom studio (Maria Norazyan and Ilya Pavlov).
