The sunrise of the Ukrainian sun. History of Donetsk region and Luhansk region at the beginning of the 21st century

This book tells about the Ukrainian communities of Donetsk and Luhansk regions that existed from the early 2000s until the Russian invasion in 2014 and were ignored by the Russian-Soviet myth about Donbas. She describes cultural environments, student circles, the Ukrainian village and various religious communities. It tells about those who wanted to live not in a mythologized past, but in a free, democratic Ukraine. These communities became the voices of the new, post-Soviet Donetsk region and Luhansk region, which fit into the all-Ukrainian context and awakened the forgotten Ukrainianness. The purpose of the book is to tell a part of their history and make it known to the general public.
