This is a research project that explores experimental typography and the relationship between function and aesthetics, content and form. The project is based on the hypothesis that Latin and Hebrew letters have a molecular structure, and analyzes how this assumption can be applied to different alphabets and languages. It is an interdisciplinary initiative that combines design, science and linguistics.

Research and key topics

The project is an in-depth exploration of the concept of "molecular typography" and includes over 150 experiments. Each of them is designed as a structured game, where Franco sets the rules, determines the parameters and selects the participants. During these tests, 11 key themes were identified:
