Serhiy Melnychenko
Serhiy Melnychenko – Ukrainian photographer, winner of the prestigious Leica Oskar Barnack Award Newcomer (2017), founder of MYPH (Mykolaiv Young Photography). His works balance between documentary and conceptual photography, exploring themes of corporeality, identity and social phenomena. Melnychenko is actively exhibited in Europe and Asia, and his photo projects are marked by a deep reflection on reality, in particular series about the underground scene in China, bodybuilding and Ukrainian post-Soviet aesthetics.
