Ivan Kozlenko
Ivan Kozlenko is a Ukrainian cultural scientist, art manager, and film researcher. He was born in Odessa in 1981. He graduated from the Faculty of Philosophy of Odessa National Mechnikov University. He is the founder of the magazine “Square of Art Projects “Nervometer””, which popularized contemporary literature of the Ukrainian South and the literary avant-garde of the 1920s.
Best known as the former general director of the Oleksandr Dovzhenko National Center, where he played a key role in reforming the institution from a film copying factory to a modern cultural hub, Kozlenko was active in preserving and popularizing Ukrainian film heritage, and also spoke out against Russian narratives in culture.
