Josef Müller-Brockmann– Swiss graphic designer, theorist and one of the founders of the international typographic style (Swiss Style). Born in 1914, he studied at the Zurich School of Arts and Crafts. Known for his approach to design based on strict grid systems, simplicity, readability and harmony of elements.
In 1950, he founded his own design studio and worked on projects for cultural institutions and commercial companies. His most famous works are the posters for the Zurich Concert Hall, in which he used minimalist compositions and asymmetrical grids.
Author of a classic book"Grid Systems in Graphic Design", which became a fundamental guide for designers around the world. His contributions to the development of graphic design remain relevant today, and his approach to visual communication continues to influence modern designers.
