Taras Prokhasko — Ukrainian writer, essayist and journalist, one of the most prominent representatives of modern Ukrainian literature. Born in 1968 in Ivano-Frankivsk. He is considered a representative of the so-called "Stanislav phenomenon" — a literary movement that unites writers and artists associated with the Carpathian region. His work is characterized by lyricism, a philosophical approach and attention to detail, as well as a combination of autobiographical motifs with elements of magical realism.
Among the most famous works of Prokhask —"Anna's other days","difficulties"and"BotakE". His essays and prose explore themes of memory, time, nature, and human relationships. Prokhasko is also known as the author of short essays reflecting on everyday life and current issues of our time.
Taras Prokhask's works have won recognition not only in Ukraine, but also abroad, translated into many languages, and also awarded literary prizes.
