Silvio Lorusso is a writer, artist, and designer living and working in Lisbon, Portugal. He explores the relationship between design, technology, and society.
In 2018, he published the book "Superstorm - Design and Politics in the Age of Information" (published byOnomatopoeia), which analyzes the phenomenon of entrepreneurship in an unstable economy. In 2023, his second book, "What Design Can't Do" (published bySet Margins'), where he examines the limitations and challenges of contemporary design.
Lorusso is actively involved in publishing, studying experimental media and the politics of public space creation through publishing processes. His work and writings have been published in leading publications, and he lectures at international conferences.
