Olga Yamborko
Olga Yamborko is a Ukrainian art historian, textile artist, candidate of art history. She is the founder of the cultural and artistic festival “SvoeRidne-fest” and an active popularizer of the work of Ivan Mykolaychuk. Yamborko worked as a research associate at the M. T. Rylsky Institute of Art History, Folklore and Ethnology of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine, a lecturer at the Mykhailo Boychuk Kyiv State Academy of Decorative and Applied Arts and Design, and an associate professor at the Institute of Arts of the Vasyl Stefanyk Precarpathian National University. As an artist, she creates woven panels and works in the pastel technique. The author of over 40 scientific articles and 50 popular science publications, Yamborko is also a co-author of collective monographs and a participant in numerous art exhibitions.
