Oleksandr Dubovyk — Ukrainian artist, philosopher and art theorist, known for his unique symbolic system in painting.
Born in 1931 in Kyiv, he studied at the Kyiv Art Institute. His work combines modernism, symbolism and abstraction, and the key elements are colors, geometric shapes and signs that create his own artistic language. Dubovyk works as a painter, graphic artist and researcher of the semiotics of art, and his works are exhibited in museums and galleries around the world.
