Phil Knight — American entrepreneur, co-founder and former CEO of Nike, Inc. He played a key role in transforming Nike from a small sports shoe company into one of the most famous brands in the world. Knight began his career in the 1960s selling shoes out of the trunk of a car and went on to build Nike into a global leader in the sporting goods industry.
Phil Knight is also the author of the autobiographical book Shoe Dog, in which he shares the history of Nike, his personal and business challenges, and the philosophy that helped him succeed.
