Daniel Bell— American sociologist, publicist and one of the most influential theorists of the second half of the 20th century, known for his works on post-industrial society, technological development and social change. He became widely known thanks to the concept of "post-industrial society", which he laid out in the book "Future Post-Industrial Society" (1973). In it, he analyzes the transition from industrial production to an economy based on information, knowledge and services.
Another important work by Bell is The Cultural Contradictions of Capitalism (1976), where he examines how cultural and social values change under capitalism and the impact of these changes on the economy and society in general. Bell was a professor at Harvard University and played an important role in shaping the modern understanding of social and economic processes.
