Daria Ivanivna Ivanytska is a librarian, author and compiler of books for children, born in 1956 in the city of Yaremche, Ivano-Frankivsk region.
Ivanytska worked at the Lviv Regional Children's Library for more than thirty years. Her dedication to work and active social position prompted the creation of a local history book for junior and high school students —"For children about Lviv", published in 2007 by the Lviv publishing house "Apriori". This book became an important contribution to the development of the children's local history fund of the libraries of the Lviv region. At the 8th All-Ukrainian Festival of Ukrainian Books "Feodosia - 2008" she was awarded as the best in the "My Ukraine" category.
