Daniel Gordis is an American-Israeli writer, historian, and publicist known for his writings on Israeli history, culture, and politics. He is the author of numerous books that address the complex issues of Israeli society, Zionism, and Jewish identity. Gordis is also a faculty member and senior vice president at Shalem College in Jerusalem.
One of his most famous books is"Israel: The Story of the Rebirth of a Nation"(Israel: A Concise History of a Nation Reborn), which has been widely acclaimed for its in-depth analysis of Israel's history from its founding to the present. Gordis also writes articles for leading international publications covering current events in the Middle East.
